Research

FIRE-AE conducts independent and interdisciplinary scientific research in stellar and planetary astrophysics. Projects can be seen from Research Projects page.

• Güray Hatipoğlu has significant experience in a diverse set of research fields, making him gain interdisciplinary skills and open to learn new things always: water resources management, satellite remote sensing, and analytical chemistry.
• He was involved in TUBITAK, HORIZON Europe, and ICT-AGRI project proposal preparation, project team establishment, and reporting works.
• ORCID profile: 0000-0002-7538-6265. Main areas: Data Decomposition/Reduction Techniques, Machine Learning, Astrophysics.

Outreach-Media Merchs

While providing custom professional solutions and conducting advanced scientific research projects are significant contributions to the society, their target audience is rather limited. In addition to these works, FIRE-AE also coordinates two main outreach activities:

• Science Ascend: An astrophysics journal targeting astrophysics students, researchers, and professionals with cutting edge scientific research, tools, and people from the field. Free-to-read and submit articles. More information can be found at Science Ascend webpage
• Media Merch: Astrophysics theme stickers, cards, and posters for anyone interested in astronomy, or simply willing to add a fantastic, colorful, and real object to their interior design or stick to their phones/computers. More information can be found at Media Merch webpage
